Micro Nav Expands Relationship with PANSA through Enhanced Simulation Capabilities

Micro Nav is pleased to announce a significant expansion of its relationship with PANSA (Polish Air Navigation Services Agency) through a successful contract delivery that substantially enhances training capabilities across its facilities.

The expansion includes the delivery of 28 SimCWP (Simulated Controller Working Position) licenses and 4 Image Generator licenses, along with strategic updates to the SimCWP platform. SimCWP is an advanced simulation platform developed in collaboration with Frequentis. The system emulates modern ATM displays and allows controllers to practice operational techniques through a representative interface, significantly reducing training time and operational overhead. This enhancement was successfully implemented in Warsaw at the end of 2024, with additional SimCWP software updates planned for deployment throughout 2025.

Shane Hannam, Sales Director at Micro Nav, commented, "This expansion represents another significant milestone in our long-standing relationship with PANSA. The successful completion of the SAT-1 delivery for our SimCWP product demonstrates our commitment to delivering cutting-edge simulation solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern air traffic control training."

The enhanced BEST platform capabilities will enable PANSA to optimise its training processes, reducing the required hours for on-the-job training while decreasing operational overhead associated with its pre-OJT simulator. The integration of BEST Insights further strengthens its training capabilities, providing advanced tracking of controller progression across both Warsaw and Poznan facilities.

This expansion builds upon a robust foundation of collaboration between Micro Nav and PANSA, supported by a comprehensive five-year support contract. As a key member of the iTEC Alliance, PANSA's enhanced simulation capabilities align with its commitment to maintaining the highest standards in Air Traffic Control training while preparing for future operational demands.
